A culinary and music event is coming to Foxborough next month and will include restaurants and food purveyors from around the country (including three in New England), as well as some celebrity chefs. The Great American Food and Music Fest will be held on June 26, 2010, at Gillette Stadium, starting at 12:00 noon and lasting until 10:30 PM, with the All Star Sandwich Bar in Cambridge, Turtle Alley in Gloucester, and the Maine Diner in Wells, ME, representing the region. In addition, Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman, television host and writer Paula Deen, Top Chef host Tom Colicchio, and restaurant owners and TV hosts Pat and Gina Neely will be at the event. Music will be provided by a number of acts, including local band The Stompers.
Tickets to The Great American Food and Music Fest are $32.50 for general admission until May 21, at which point they will cost $42.50 (they will be $52.50 on the day of the event).
This is one of two Great American Food and Music Fest events being held this year, with the other one coming to the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, on June 13.
