A restaurant and bar at the southern edge of Nantasket Beach in Hull has closed its doors, with another dining spot and watering hole moving into its space.
According to an article in the Hull Sun/Wicked Local blog, the Beachfire Restaurant & Bar is now open on State Park Road, taking over the spot where The Ocean Club used to be. The Ocean Club had been a seafood restaurant and bar that featured live music, and according to the article, the Beachfire Restaurant & Bar will also have music, though it appears that the bands will be smaller and there won't be any dancing.
The menu at the Beachfire Restaurant & Bar features a mix of seafood and pub grub, including fried calamari, pulled pork nachos, Duxbury oysters, clam chowder, burgers, steak tips, macaroni and cheese, fish and chips, and grilled swordfish.
