According to The Patriot Ledger, California Pizza Kitchen will be opening at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. The new spot will have a capacity of 186, and while it will have a full liquor license, there won't be an actual bar within the restaurant--just some counter seats by the service bar. Expect a January opening for the new restaurant.

The California Pizza Kitchen chain, which has more than 250 restaurants throughout the United States and in other countries, features soups, salads, pizza, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and more on their menu. Currently, locations in the local area can be found in Boston, Cambridge, Natick, and Wellesley.
