A multi-day festival returns to Salem early next month, once again featuring all kinds of events, including one that lovers of chocolate and wine may not want to miss.
According to the Salem Chamber of Commerce, the 9th Annual Salem's So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival will be held from February 4 through February 14, and the festival will kick off with a chocolate and wine tasting. The tasting will take place at Hamilton Hall on Chestnut Street from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on February 4, with tickets being $25. (The Chamber of Commerce website mentions that the event sells out each year, so tickets should be purchased ahead of time.) Chocolate and wine--as well as ice cream--can be sampled from many Salem spots, including 62 Restaurant & Wine Bar, Cafe Polonia, Capt.'s Waterfront Grill & Pub, Finz Seafood & Grill, the Great Escape, Milk & Honey Green Grocer, Rockafellas, Salem Waterfront Hotel, and Victoria Station.
A number of other events and promotions will also be taking place at Salem restaurants during the festival.
