Chocolate Festival Coming to Harvard Square in Cambridge, January 28-30, 2011

A food-based event that chocolate lovers won't want to miss is coming to Harvard Square in Cambridge later this month.

According to HarvardSquare.com (the Harvard Square Business Association website), a three-day chocolate festival will be held in the square, with events taking place on Friday, January 28 through Sunday, January 30. On Friday, Dining in the Dark will take place at Sandrine's on Holyoke Street, with this increasingly popular concept of eating in complete pitch-black including a chocolate-based dessert. On Saturday, there will be a chocolate treasure hunt in Harvard Square, as well as a chocolate sampling event. And on Sunday, a chocolate tour will take place, with stops at Cardullo's, Crema Cafe, Finale Dessert Company, Hi-Rise Bread Company, JP Licks, and L.A. Burdick. A second Dining in the Dark event will also take place on Sunday, with this one being at Upstairs on the Square on Winthrop Street.

Other events, chocolate-based specials, and special deals will take place as well throughout the three-day period in Harvard Square.
