A little more than a year after moving from Harvard Square in Cambridge to the South End of Boston, an Indian restaurant has closed its doors.
According to Boston food and drinks writer MC Slim JB, Bombay Club on Washington Street is now shut down. The restaurant had been located on JFK Street in Harvard Square from the early 1990s until October of 2009, when it closed its location there and subsequently moved into the South End space two months later in late December. The Washington Street spot that Bombay Club moved into had been where the eclectic Southeast Asian eatery Pho Republique was located for about 10 years until closing a couple of months before Bombay Club moved in.
The address for this now-closed Indian restaurant in the South End was: Bombay Club, 1415 Washington Street, Boston, MA, 02118.
