The Executive Chef at an upscale restaurant in Somerville's Davis Square will be leaving the eatery so he can open a new restaurant along the eastern edge of Boston's Financial District.
According to The Feast, Jason Santos of the New American restaurant Gargoyles on the Square on Elm Street in Somerville is planning to open an as-of-yet-unnamed restaurant on Broad Street by the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The article indicates that the upcoming spot will have a full liquor license as well as a 2:00 AM license, and may be something along the lines of a burger bar during the day and a quirky American eatery at night.
The Feast mentions that Jason Santos is leaving Gargoyles after Easter Sunday, which falls on April 24 this year.

The Herald mentions that Santos picked this name (actually submitted as "Blue Ink") from more than 500 suggestions emailed to him. A few other suggestions for names included "Bluejay," "Cerulean," and "Elemental." It appears that Blue Inc. will be opening sometime in June, according to Jason Santos's Facebook page.]
