Based on information from their website and Facebook page, Seven Star Street Bistro looks to open soon (possibly this month) on Belgrade Avenue, taking over the spot formerly occupied by the Taiwanese restaurant Cheerful Kitchens, and before that, Family Restaurant and a few others. The menu at this small takeout place looks to feature "small bites" (including steamed wontons, braised pork belly, daikon fries, braised pork stew, and scallion pancakes) as well as wok dishes (including chicken with shitake mushrooms and asparagus, Shanghai shredded pork, salt and pepper shrimp and scallops, and lo mein).
It appears that Seven Star Street Bistro will be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday and dinner only on Saturdays and Sundays (closed Mondays).
