A culinary event is coming to the South Shore later this month, with a number of area restaurants participating.
According to The Hingham Downtown Association, A Taste of Hingham is being held on Saturday, May 21 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM on Main Street in the center of town. In addition to food samplings, the event will include live music, face painting, crafts for children, a horse-drawn wagon, and more.
Restaurants and food purveyors that are participating in the 2011 Taste of Hingham include Bloomy Rind, Brewed Awakenings, Caffe Tosca, Fruit Center Marketplace, Muang Thai Restaurant, Puopolo Candies, Rocky Neck Fish Company, Sadie Mae's Cupcakes, Stars on Hingham Harbor, Scarlet Oak Tavern, The Square Cafe, White's Fine Cakes & Pastry, and many more.
Tickets to A Taste of Hingham cost $12 in advance, or $15 at the gate, with family tickets also available ($25 in advance, or $30 at the gate). For more information--including where to purchase tickets--please go to the Hingham Downtown Association link below.
