A Japanese restaurant is going to be opening in the Back Bay of Boston, moving into the space where an Italian dining spot used to be.
According to EveryBlock Boston, Itadaki Restaurant will be opening on Newbury Street near the Gloucester Street intersection, taking over the former Pazzo spot (Pazzo closed in March after being in business for about two years). Based on limited information from the restaurant's not-yet-complete website as well as a Craigslist jobs posting, Itadaki will be a trendy, upscale place that will feature "great food, cool drinks and amazing hospitality." The Craigslist post mentions that the new restaurant should be opening very soon, though an exact opening date does not seem to be set as of yet.
[November 16 update: A note sent to us by the restaurant indicates that Itadaki is now open. (It had its grand opening in September.)]
The address for this new Japanese restaurant in the Back Bay is: Itadaki Restaurant, 269 Newbury Street, Boston, MA, 02116.
