A South Shore restaurant and bar known in part for its spectacular water views has closed its doors and is now up for sale.
According to a couple of articles in the Hull Times, the Beachfire Restaurant and Bar in Hull abruptly closed last month, with the owner citing personal health issues, and now it has been reported that the Nantasket Beach establishment has been put on the market for $1.5 million. the Beachfire first opened in mid-2010, taking over the space where the Ocean Club formerly resided. Much like the Ocean Club, the Beachfire featured seafood and pub grub as well as live entertainment.
One of the articles in the Hull Times indicates that the sale would include all equipment as well as the liquor license (subject to state transfer), and the Beachfire owner would be willing to help the new owner with training, if necessary.
The address for this now-closed restaurant and bar at Nantasket Beach in Hull is: Beachfire Restaurant and Bar, 42 State Park Road, Hull, MA 02045.
