Grass Fed Burger Bar to Open in Jamaica Plain

Last month we mentioned a rumor about a burger bar possibly coming to Jamaica Plain, and now this has been confirmed, as the owner of another JP restaurant will be opening a place called Grass Fed.

According to Eater Boston, a post on the Ten Tables Twitter page states that Grass Fed will be moving into the former Bon Savor space on Centre Street (in the same block as Ten Tables), with an expected opening date of February 1. This rumor started back in late November during a Boston Globe food chat, as it was mentioned that Krista Kranyak--the owner of Ten Tables--was planning to open a burger bar within the Bon Savor space (Bon Savor closed its doors a couple of weeks after the chat).

This will be the fourth restaurant opened by Krista Kranyak, who has two other locations of Ten Tables in Cambridge and Provincetown.

[January 4, 2012 update: A bit more information on Grass Fed--according to their Facebook page, the restaurant will be featuring grass-fed beef burgers ground fresh daily as well as salads, sandwiches, fish burgers, and veggie burgers.]

[March 27, 2012 update: According to their Facebook page, Grass Fed is officially opening tomorrow (Wednesday, March 28) at 11:00 AM.]

The address for this upcoming burger bar in Jamaica Plain will be: Grass Fed, 605 Centre Street, Boston, MA, 02130.
