An Armenian market has opened in a section of the Boston area that is known in part for its Armenian food spots.
According to posters on Chowhound and Yelp, Armenian Market & Bakery is now open on Elm Street in East Watertown, next door to the Watertown Mall and across the street from the Arsenal Mall. The posters mention that the new market features such items as fresh lamejun and shawarma as well as groceries, cheeses, sandwiches, coffee, and have an olive bar.
East Watertown--and especially the Coolidge Square area, which is a bit north of Armenian Market & Bakery--has several spots that sell Armenian and Middle Eastern food, including Sevan Bakery, Arax Market, Massis Bakery, Fordee's Falafel & Deli, and just across the line in Belmont, Eastern Lamejun Bakers.
