Chefs for the Cure to Be Held in Westwood, April 28, 2012

A culinary event that helps in the fight against breast cancer is returning once again to Westwood later this month, and as always, a number of local chefs will be participating.

According to the Regan Communications Group, the Fourth Annual Chefs for the Cure is going to be held at the Viking Center Showroom on Blue Hill Drive on Saturday, April 28, at 7:30 PM. The event, which benefits The Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Komen MA), will include exclusive tastings, wine pairings, chef meet-and-greets, a silent auction and live raffle giveaways, and more. A few of the chefs who will be involved include Joanne Chang (Myers+Chang), Keenan Langlois (Union Bar and Grille), Christopher Robins (Gaslight), Brian Reyelt (Citizen Public House & Oyster Bar), Ben Lacy (Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro), Nicole Coady (Finale), and others.

Tickets to the 2012 Chefs for the Cure cost $100, with proceeds benefiting Komen MA to help fund educational, screening and treatment programs, offer grant money to community-based organizations that support its mission, and help better the lives of those who face breast cancer locally.
