According to the Globe, Hungry Mother on Cardinal Medeiros Avenue in Kendall Square is the winner of Munch Madness 2012, defeating Craigie on Main, which is also located in Cambridge (on Main Street between Kendall Square and Central Square). Hungry Mother had defeated Highland Kitchen in Somerville in the Final Four round, while Craigie on Main had beaten Eastern Standard in Boston's Kenmore Square.
A total of 64 area restaurants took part in Munch Madness 2012.
