The Winchester Star and Wicked Local are reporting that Stone Hearth Pizza is planning to open in Winchester, moving into a space on Main Street in the center of town where a clothing store called T. Michaels had been. The article states that the pizzeria received a common victualler's license from the town in late March, though it still needs to submit an application for a liquor license, with the plan being to offer beer and wine. The spot that Stone Hearth is moving into is the biggest space in Winchester Center (2,000 square feet), according to the Star.
Stone Hearth Pizza first started out in Belmont about seven years ago and currently has locations in Belmont, Allston, Cambridge, and Needham. The eateries focus on thin-crust Neapolitan pies using fresh ingredients.
