A post by Adam's Hospitality & Tourism Industry Blog indicates that Il Mondo Pizzeria on Huntington Avenue will be taking over the old Pizza Pie-er space on Mass. Ave (between Boylston Street and Huntington Avenue). The dining spot offers pizza, calzones, salads, appetizers, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and grill items.
There does not seem to be a specific opening date for the new location of Il Mondo; as soon as we receive more information, we will post an update here.
[December 7 update: Eater Boston is reporting that the new Il Mondo on Mass. Ave. is now open.]
