A job post within the Craigslist site mentions that Maggy's is planning to open on Washington Street (near the former Fore River Shipyard), moving into the space where My House used to be. This confirms what an earlier article in the Patriot Ledger had mentioned, though Craigslist has the spelling as "Maggy's" while the newspaper has it at "Maggie's." (One of our followers says that the sign spells it "Maggy's.") It appears that the new drinking spot will serve pizza and pretzels, and it will also have DJs, acoustic guitarists, and live bands.
There is no specific opening date for Maggy's at this point, though the Craigslist post says that they will have an open house for a variety of job positions this weekend.
[June 4 update: Eater Boston is reporting that Maggy's in Quincy has soft-opened, with a grand opening planned for June 11 and 12.]
