Starting on Friday, June 21 and going through Sunday, June 23, the Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Party will take place at City Hall Plaza, with seven teams being at the event. Participants include Aussom Aussie BBQ (Sydney, Australia), Joey's Texas Thunder BBQ (Texas), Chicago BBQ Company (Chicago), Jack's Down Home Barbecue (Philadelphia), Johnson's Bar-B-Que (Chesapeake, Virginia), Firefly's Bar-B Que (Boston), and Just North of Memphis BBQ.
Tickets to get into the 2013 Phantom Gourmet BBQ Beach Party cost $5 for a limited time, or $10 at the event itself (children 6 and under get in for free), with food and drink costing extra. Hours are 12:00 PM to 9:45 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 12:00 PM to 6:45 PM on Sunday.
