A check on the place a few days ago indicates that Spettus Steakhouse is now located on Independence Avenue in South Quincy, having moved from Washington Street just east of the downtown area. Its new space had formerly been home to the Varsity Club, a sports bar that closed several months ago.
Spettus Steakhouse is a rodizio-style restaurant where diners pay a fixed price for samples of meat while also having access to a buffet and salad bar.
