Cielito Lindo Cocina Mexicana in Beverly Is Closing

This spring we reported that the person behind a couple of restaurants in Beverly was going to open a third dining spot in Arlington. Now we have learned that one of the eateries in Beverly is closing.

According to one of our sources, Cielito Lindo Cocina Mexicana on Cabot Street is shutting down on August 30 after eight years in business, with a Facebook post from the restaurant stating that "we were unable to reach agreeable terms for our current location." It appears that the restaurant could potentially open in another space, as the note goes on to say that they will "keep you all posted on any impending plans on another location nearby."

Taqueria La Victoria remains in operation on Wallis Street in Beverly, while a second location is slated for Medford Street in Arlington Center. (Note: The restaurant appears to call itself both Taqueria La Victoria and La Victoria Taqueria, with the latter name seeming to be used for the upcoming Arlington spot.)

The address for the soon-to-close Cielito Lindo Cocina Mexicana is 150 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA, 01915.
