Restaurant May Open in Berklee's New Building in Boston's Back Bay

It looks like a new restaurant may be on its way to the Back Bay of Boston, and it would be moving into a new building used by a local college for academic and dorm space.

The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting (via a Licensing Board page within the City of Boston site and a BRA post) that a dining spot is planning to open on the ground floor of a 16-floor tower that is part of the Berklee College of Music. The article says that the Mass. Ave. restaurant could have live music as well, but no specifics have been given as of yet (and it does not appear to have a specific name).

The proposed restaurant in the Berklee building is seeking a license transfer from TC's Lounge a dive bar on nearby Haviland Street that was hit by a fire in the spring of 2012 and ended up having to close because their lease was not renewed.

The address for this upcoming restaurant in the Back Bay is 160 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston, MA, 02115.
