Tossed Closes Its Prudential Center Shop in Boston's Back Bay

A small group of quick-casual dining spots that offers made-to-order salads has closed one of its Boston locations.

According to several sources this week, the Tossed branch at the Prudential Center in the Back Bay has shuttered, with this being confirmed by the chain this morning. The note from Tossed also says that the shop at One Post Office Square in the Financial District remains open and is doing catering/deliveries to the downtown area as well as the Back Bay and Cambridge. The website for the group of eateries does show that at least one new location may actually be on its way to Boston, but no other details are known at this point in time.

In addition to salads, the Florida-based Tossed chain features soups, sandwiches, smoothies, cookies, and more. Their website is at http://www.tossed.com/
