According to a note sent from Rich O's Ravings, Tisan Coffee Express on Mass. Ave. (between Porter Square and Harvard Square) is locked up, with the same pile of papers sitting on the counter inside for awhile now. A call placed to the shop indicates that the phone is out of service, and a Google search comes up with a "Permanently closed" message in the Google results. It appears that Tisan has been closed for at least a couple of weeks, but this has not been confirmed as of yet.
Tisan Coffee Express first opened last July, offering coffee along with bagels, pastries, and more. It had originally been looking to open on Cambridge Street between Inman Square and Lechmere, but eventually settled on the Mass. Ave. space.
