According to a poster on the Chowhound site, plans for a restaurant to open in the Dodakin's Auto Sales space at the corner of Park Street and Beacon Street are now "dead in the water," as an email sent to the poster mentions a conflict with an abutter that was unable to be resolved. The dining spot--which was tentatively to be called Cobble Hill--had a connection to Highland Kitchen, with an earlier Eater Boston article saying that Marco Hunter-Melo of the Highland Avenue restaurant was behind it.
News of this dining spot first came out in October of 2012, with the plans including a focus on affordable comfort food and possibly a rooftop garden being built.
The address for this proposed restaurant was 81 Park Street, Somerville, MA, 02143.
