According to a licensing board page within the City of Boston website, M&J Teriyaki is looking to open on Jersey Street, with the address indicating that it will be moving into the space where Trattoria Toscana had been until closing for renovations in April. In late April and early May, the Toscana indicated that this was indeed a closure due to renovations and not a permanent closing, though it remained closed to this day.
It is not known exactly what kind of restaurant M&J Teriyaki might be, nor is it known when it could open if the city approves of its plans, so keep checking back for updates.
The address for M&J Teriyaki (and now-closed Trattoria Toscana) is 130 Jersey Street, Boston, MA, 02215.
[October 4, 2016 update: Eater Boston states that M&J Teriyaki is now open, and that it is a Japanese restaurant that features noodle soups, teriyaki, bubble tea, and more.]
