After Roof Collapse, Unchained Pizza to Reopen in Quincy--and Expand to Dorchester

A pizzeria just south of Boston that was forced to close because of a roof collapse is planning to return to its space, and it will also open a second location within the Boston city limits as well.

According to its website and Facebook page, Unchained Pizza is looking to reopen in Quincy later this year (possibly in August or September), though it depends on how the work goes on construction at the space. An earlier Patriot Ledger article states that in February of 2015, the roof of The UPS Store at Adams Plaza--which is home to Unchained Pizza and other businesses--caved in due to heavy snow, and that the pizzeria had to shut down as well because of structural damage to the building and the risk that other parts of the roof could collapse. (Adams Plaza is located by the Adams Street/Furnace Brook Parkway intersection.)

Unchained Pizza mentions that in addition to reopening at Adams Plaza, it will also be opening a second shop on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester, moving into a space at The Marketplace on Morrissey, which is just north of Neponset Circle. It appears that the Dorchester location could actually be opening first, possibly in the late spring.
