Cafe Madeleine in Boston's South End Reopens After Vacation, Repairs

A French patisserie in Boston's South End that closed for a month-long vacation--then remained closed for another month for repairs--is now open once again.

According to a reader (and confirmed by a Facebook post), Cafe Madeleine on Columbus Avenue has reopened after being shuttered in February for a seasonal break and staying closed in March due to unspecified damage that needed to be fixed. The eatery, which first opened its doors in the summer of 2014, offers such items as lemon tarts, croissants, eclairs, French brownies, cheesecake, coffee, and more.

The address for Cafe Madeleine is 517 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA, 02118. Its website is at http://cafemadeleineboston.com/
