According to a source within the local restaurant industry (and also mentioned in an earlier tweet by a realtor), Mastro's is coming to Twenty Two Liberty, a luxury residential building at Fan Pier on the Boston waterfront. A job post within the Craigslist site confirms that it is indeed coming to the city, though it does not state the exact location. Mastro's--which is owned by Landry's and whose steakhouse concept was once included in Gayot's list of top ten steakhouses in the United States--can be found in New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, and Las Vegas, along with a handful of locations in Arizona and California. In addition to Mastro's Steakhouse, there is also a seafood concept called Mastro's Ocean Club. (It has not yet been confirmed which concept will come to Boston.)
Originally, Sam's at Louis was planning to move from its home next door to a new space within Twenty Two Liberty as well, but those plans have fallen through and Sam's will not be reopening after all.
