Santouka May Open in Boston's Seaport District

A chain of Japan-based ramen shops that is getting ready to open its second Boston-area location could also be opening a third--and this one would be in a red-hot section of the city for development.

Eater Boston is reporting that Santouka is eyeing a location somewhere in the Seaport District for its next restaurant, joining an existing shop on Bow Street in Cambridge's Harvard Square along with another on Hereford Street in Boston's Back Bay that plans to open later this month. It is not known when the Seaport District shop might open--or even if it is completely written in stone yet--so keep checking back for updates.

Santouka also has locations in a handful of other states and Canada as well as Japan and other Asian countries. Its website can be found at https://www.santouka.co.jp/en
