Coach Grill in Wayland Reopens After Fire in April Forces It To Close

A suburban steakhouse that sustained major damage in a fire a few months ago is open once again.

According to a Facebook post from the place, Coach Grill in Wayland has reopened and is currently taking reservations, with the note saying "Welcome back to Coach Grill. Join us for dinner this week and let us remind you what you've been missing." In mid-April, a blaze that started in the restaurant's refrigeration unit caused both smoke damage and water damage, though no injuries occurred in the two-alarm fire.

Coach Grill traces its roots back to the 1930s when a restaurant called the Red Coach Grill opened up at the site. That dining spot was destroyed in a blaze in the late 1970s, and Coach Grill eventually was built where the Red Coach Grill had once been.

The address for Coach Grill is 55 Boston Post Road, Wayland, MA, 01778. Its website is at http://coachgrill.com/
