A breakfast and lunch spot that was recently awarded a "best of" from our sister site has shut down, and it looks like a new dining spot is taking over the space.
According to a Twitter post from the place, Brick Wall Kitchen in Brookline served its final brunch on Sunday, saying that it was its last day in operation. No reason was given for its closure, and it isn't known what might move into the space; as soon as we get more information, we will post an update here. Brick Wall Kitchen, which was run by Frank Shear and William White of the former Benny's Crepe Cafe food truck, was picked as "best breakfast place in the Boston area" for 2016 by Boston's Hidden Restaurants, with a review of the spot shown at this link:

[March 3 update: The Brick Wall Kitchen space might not be empty for long, as a board of selectmen hearing page on the town of Brookline site shows that a new spot called Bess's Cafe is moving in.]
