Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen Is Making Plans to Open in Brighton

It looks like Boston is getting another new brewery and brewpub.

According to a Facebook post from the Brighton Allston Improvement Association (BAIA), Brato Brew Pub is seeking a beer and wine license as well as a common victualler license to operate at N Beacon Street in Brighton, with a check on the Facebook page of the business showing that its exact name may be Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen. The Facebook page mentions that the brewpub expects to feature "all things fermented," with grilled cheese, sandwiches, house-made sausage, "thoughtfully crafted" beers, and (according to an earlier Eater Boston article) breads and pickles offered.

The Eater Boston post says that Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen could be opening sometime next year, though no specific timetable has been given as of yet.

The address for this proposed brewery and brewpub in Brighton is: Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen, 190 N Beacon Street, Brighton, MA, 02135. The website for the business can be found at https://www.bratobk.com/

[December 10, 2018 update: The website for the place indicates that Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen plans to open in the late spring or early summer of 2019, though it is currently fundraising and is seeking investors to help meet its goal.]

[October 7, 2019 update: According to a source, Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen is finally about ready to open, with a Facebook post from the place saying that it indeed plans to debut this month--and that a grand opening party is slated for October 19.]
