According to an article from Universal Hub (via a Facebook post from the business), Exodus Bagels is now looking to open a shop on Washington Street in the former Canto 6 space, with the McCraw Street space in Roslindale that was originally to have been home to a diner, deli, and bagel shop continuing on as their commercial kitchen. No opening date for the store has been given as of yet, so stay tuned for updates.
Canto 6 shut down in August of 2016 after approximately 10 years in business; its closure took place two months after Exodus Bagels announced its initial plans to open a shop in Roslindale.
The address for the upcoming retail shop for Exodus Bagels is 3346 Washington Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. The website for the company can be found at http://www.exodusbagels.com/
[January 31, 2018 update: The Improper Bostonian states that Exodus Bagels plans to open in Jamaica Plain sometime in February.]
[February 10, 2018 update: An Instagram post from the business indicates that Exodus Bagels gives a sneak peek of its new space in Jamaica Plain with free bagels and cheese tomorrow (Sunday, February 11), with its official opening taking place on Tuesday, February 13--and that it is also still looking to open a shop on McCraw Street space in Roslindale at some point in time (that space is also being used for food production).]
