Tuscan Kitchen Opens in Boston's Seaport District

by Marc Hurwitz

A long-awaited new location of a local group of Italian restaurants has officially arrived.

As reported earlier here, Tuscan Kitchen opens today in Boston's Seaport District, with the second-floor dining spot at the One Seaport Development having nearly 15,000 square feet of space that includes spacious dining areas, a wine bar, an espresso bar, and a private dining area. The menu at the new eatery offers house-made bread and pasta dishes along with a variety of meat and seafood options and more, and a wine bar on the premises includes a large number of Italian wines.

Initially, it was thought that the new location of Tuscan Kitchen in the Seaport District might also include a section dedicated to their retail outlet called Tuscan Market, but this is not the case, instead being much like the Burlington location which only has a restaurant. (The locations in Salem, NH, and Portsmouth, NH include Tuscan Market.)
