It looks like a new restaurant featuring Mexican food is on its way to a Boston neighborhood, and this one should be popular with commuters.
According to an article in the Jamaica Plain News, Achilito's Taqueria is planning to open in the Forest Hills section of Jamaica Plain, with the eatery moving into a space on Hyde Park Avenue that is in a new building across from from the Forest Hills T station. The restaurant's website says that a menu is coming soon, but it does indicate that the place will have a wood-fired grill and will offer salsa, tacos, and more, with seasonal ingredients used for "small batch" food items.
The address for this upcoming Mexican dining spot is: Achilito's Taqueria, 38 Hyde Park Avenue, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. Its website can be found at https://www.achilitos.com/
[October 4 update: The Jamaica Plain News states that Achilito's Taqueria soft-opens this weekend, and it will offer such items as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls, and more.]
