An outpost of an iconic Italian restaurant has reopened approximately a month after it mysteriously closed.
According to a source, Giacomo's Ristorante in Boston's South End of Boston is open once again, with photos showing an "Open" sign out front and customers inside the Columbus Avenue dining spot. No specific reason was ever given for the restaurant's closure, though a note out front last month said that "Due to circumstances beyond our control Giacomo's South End will be temporarily closed! We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and hope to make it up to you in the near future."
The North End location of Giacomo's is one of the most popular restaurants in that neighborhood, with long lines often found outside the place. (A third location can be found on Main Street in Melrose as well.)
The address for Giacomo's in the South End is 431 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA, 02116.
