It looks like a family-style Mexican restaurant is coming to the South Shore, taking over the space where an upscale comfort food spot currently resides.
According to an article in the Cohasset Mariner, Lenny's Hideaway is looking to open in Cohasset, moving into the Perch 143 space on Stagecoach Way in the village center. The post says that owners Derek and Stephanie Burke come from San Francisco where they owned a number of dining spots, and that the plan is to make minor changes to the space and no changes to the exterior.
Perch 143, which opened its doors last year, is a casual upscale restaurant that features a mix of New American and classic American fare, including such items as deviled eggs, pulled pork sliders, a beet salad, burgers, a short rib grilled cheese sandwich, grilled salmon, herb roasted chicken, and steak tips.
The address for Perch 143 (and the upcoming Lenny's Hideaway) is 8 Stagecoach Way, Cohasset, MA, 02025.
[August 24 update: A new article from the Cohasset Mariner states that the Board of Selectmen has approved an entertainment license for Lenny's Hideaway, which hopes to have live music, record-sharing, and open mic events.]
[February 4, 2019 update: A Facebook post on the Cohasset143 page indicates that Lenny's Hideaway appears to be going through a soft opening, and it could be having its official opening this week, though we are still trying to confirm this.]
