It looks like another Boston-area location of a California-based coffee roaster and retailer will be closing this week.
According to an article from northendwaterfront.com, Peet's Coffee & Tea in the North End of Boston is closing on Friday, July 13, which is the same day that a location in Newton Centre is shutting down. It appears that shops in Beacon Hill, Brookline, Cambridge, Chestnut Hill, Lexington, and Wellesley will remain in operation, though if this changes, we will post an update here.
Peet's first opened at the corner of Salem Street and Cross Street at the end of 2015 in the old Goody Glover's space.
The address for this soon-to-close coffee shop in the North End is: Peet's Coffee & Tea, 50 Salem Street, Boston, MA, 02113. The website for Peet's can be found at http://www.peets.com/
