A group of restaurants that started out in Austin, TX, has closed two of its three locations in Boston.
According to a source, Noon Mediterranean's shops on Boylston Street in the Back Bay and Washington Street in Downtown Crossing are shuttered, with a message sent from the company confirming that both locations are no longer in operation. The company does tell us that the Summer Street outlet in Boston's Financial District remains open and that they are referring customers to this shop, which is a few blocks away from the now-closed Washington Street outlet.
Noon Mediterranean, which was originally named Verts and has moved its main office to New York City, opened its Back Bay shop in March of 2017 and its outlet in Downtown Crossing last August.

[August 14 update: Eater Boston mentions (via restaurantbusinessonline.com) that Noon Mediterranean has filed for bankruptcy, closing seven locations and laying off 89 workers in the process. (Court documents indicate that the company is now looking for an investor in order to stay afloat.)]
