A family-style Italian dining spot is on its way to the North End of Boston, and the person behind it is a familiar name in both the sports and food worlds.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Table by Jen Royle is opening on Hanover Street in a former nail salon space, with the restaurant being open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday and brunch on Sundays, while the setup of the place includes a large table for 22 people and several other smaller tables. The fixed-price dinner menu at Table will include bread, two salads, three appetizers, and two main courses along with side dishes, while brunch will include such items as fried dough, chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, and breakfast flatbreads.
Jen Royle comes from the world of sports reporting and writing, and she is also a chef who has been on Beat Bobby Flay and The Taste.
