A brand new diner with an interesting name is on its way, moving into the space where a location of a sandwich chain had been.
According to a source, The Grateful Dedham Diner is planning to open in Dedham Square in the former D'Angelo's space on High Street, with a Facebook post from Dedham Square Circle confirming this, saying that "Progress is being made on Dedham's newest diner." It does not look like there is a specific opening date for the eatery, nor is there a menu as of yet (the restaurant's Facebook page simply says "We are a family diner that is grateful that we are able to cook home-cooked classics and serve them with love in Dedham Square"), so keep checking back for updates as they come in.
The address for The Grateful Dedham Diner is 573 High Street, Dedham, MA. Its Facebook page can be found at https://www.facebook.com/gratefuldedham/
[March 5 update: According to a source, The Grateful Dedham Diner has soft-opened, with a Facebook post from the place confirming this, saying that its hours for now are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with breakfast being served all day.]
