A new modern American dining spot is taking over the ever-rotating space where an Italian eatery had been for the past several months.
According to a press release, HUSH opens today within the Wink & Nod space on Appleton Street in the South End for the next six months or so, replacing Ripasso. Chef David Daniels of the MET Group and Aragosta is behind the new spot, which will focus on seasonal items with global influences, and the offerings at HUSH will apparently be pretty eclectic, with such items as foie popsicles, American caviar panini, a Maine crab carbonara, and ahi tuna flatbread being a few of the options available. A spring and summer cocktail list will also be offered, with drinks making use of Italian flavors and spirits.
Ripasso, which was run by Tony Susi of the long-closed Sage restaurant, was a number of pop-up concepts operated at Wink & Nod, with some of the others being Humaari, Pareja, Pelekasis, Gita, Akinto, and Little Owl Tavern. (The website for Wink & Nod can be found at http://winkandnod.com/)
