A well-known Italian restaurant in Boston has very quietly been replaced by a new Italian spot.
Based on a tweet from @amydeveau and confirmed by Boston Magazine, Basile Fine Italian Kitchen is now open in the Da Vinci Ristorante space in the city's Bay Village neighborhood, with Namaha Capital being behind the new Columbus Avenue spot. Boston Magazine mentions that the place is "modernizing" the food and drink options and that renovations are being done to the space including updates to the bar and the patio. Even though a sign is up for the new restaurant, the official opening of Basile is slated to take place on Saturday, May 18.
Da Vinci Ristorante first opened its doors 12 years ago.
The address for Basile Fine Italian Kitchen (and the former Da Vinci Ristorante) is 162 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA, 02116. The Instagram page for the restaurant can be found at https://www.instagram.com/basileboston/
