A North Shore nanobrewery is on the verge of opening its very own facility in a former auto mechanic space.
According to a source, Old Planters Brewing Co. could be opening as soon as next week in Beverly, taking over the old McNeil's Auto Body space on Rantoul Street. The brewery, which will include a taproom, will be a big upgrade for the people behind it who started the business in a basement back in 2014. Currently, the beers offered by Old Planters include an IPA, a pale ale, and a double IPA, with their beers being available at various restaurants and bars in the local area.
The address for the Old Planters Brewing Co. brewery and taproom is 236 Rantoul Street, Beverly, MA, 01915. The website for the business can be found at https://www.oldplanters.com/
[June 25 update: A Facebook post indicates that Old Planters Brewing Co. has opened, though it is only open Thursday through Sunday at least for now.]
