A Worcester spot that is known for its burgers, beers, spiked milkshakes, and cocktails will be expanding eastward, opening at a lakeside space that had been home to an upscale Mediterranean restaurant.
According to an article from Wicked Local, The Fix Burger Bar is planning to open in Marlborough, with the place taking over the former Allora Ristorante space on Route 20. The post says that Niche Hospitality Group, which is behind The Fix Burger Bar, also runs a number of other spots in Worcester, including Bocado Tapas Wine Bar, Mezcal Tequila Cantina, Nonna's Pizza + Pasta, Railers Sports Tavern, and Steam Energy Cafe, along with Rye & Thyme American Tavern in Leominster.
Allora closed in February after being in business for approximately 12 years.
The address for the upcoming Fix Burger Bar in Marlborough is 139 Lakeside Avenue (Route 20), Marlborough, MA, 01752. The website for the original location in Worcester can be found at https://www.thefixburgerbar.com/
