The person behind a bakery business that is run out of a residential space in Somerville is going to be opening a brick-and-mortar store in Medford.
According to an article in the Somerville Journal and Wicked Local, END Bakery is planning to open in a retail space in West Medford, with the Playstead Road shop being run by Carla Barile, who started the business out of her home on Powder House Boulevard near Tufts University in Somerville. The post says that the business plans to keep operating out of the house in Somerville, while the store in West Medford will initially be open seven days a week, though it could end up being closed on Sundays and Mondays. Expect to see such items as cupcakes, cakes, pecan bars, cream puffs, mini cheesecakes, apple crostatas, baked fruit pies, and more at END Bakery's retail shop, which expects to open sometime in September.
The address for the upcoming END Bakery is 17 Playstead Road, Medford, MA, 02155. The Facebook page for the business can be found at https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Cupcake-Shop/END-Bakery-1607243352923946/
