It looks like Everett's Fermentation District could soon become home to a family-friendly "indoor backyard and tap room" if all goes as planned.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Kin Tap Room is looking to open on Norman Street in a facility that is currently home to Revolution Axe Throwing and Sky Zone Trampoline Park (behind Night Shift Brewing). The website for the business and the Eater article indicate that it would be a space for both adults and children, with offerings including lawn games, a bar area with beer, wine, and cider as well as coffee, space for children's activities, and possibly space for events and classes. It does not appear that food would be served at Kin Tap Room, but patrons would be able to bring their own, and it would be an indoor facility that would be open year round. If all goes well, the new spot could be open within the first half of 2020, according to Eater.
The Fermentation District includes alcohol-related businesses such as Night Shift, Bone Up Brewing Co., Down the Road Beer Co., and Short Path Distillery, while a dining and drinking spot called Village Bar & Grill also resides in the heart of the area.
