A quirky restaurant south of Boston that was known in part for its pizzas has shut down, though its location north of the city remains in operation.
According to a Facebook post from the place, Easy Pie in Braintree is now closed, with the note saying that "It is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make but one that is necessary for this brand to move forward and become what it deserves to be." The post does state that the Revere outlet of the eatery will stay open, saying "To Everyone that loves and supports Easy Pie please do not be strangers and come and visit us in our Revere Location!"
The Braintree location of Easy Pie first opened in 2011, offering a wide variety of pizzas, burgers, chicken and turkey sandwiches, and more, including some unusual pizza topping combos (both sweet and savory) along with a "monster" tater tot. The dining spot was featured on our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants), with the review found below:

The address for the now-closed location of Easy Pie in Braintree was 1701 Washington Street, Braintree, MA, 02184. The website for the existing Revere location can be found at https://www.theeasypie.com/
[September 18 update: Eater Boston states (via a Facebook post) that Easy Pie plans to open a new location somewhere in Everett, though there are very few details right now.]
