An Italian restaurant on the Cape will be expanding to a spot closer to Boston, and it will replace an upscale eatery that is housed in an historic space.
According to an article in Wicked Local, La Cucina Sul Mare in Falmouth is planning to open in North Easton, taking over the space where Towneship currently resides. The post says that the new dining spot will feature "a lot of seafood" from Cape Cod while offering both Italian and Mediterranean fare. No opening date has been given for La Cucina Sul Mare as of yet, so keep checking back for updates as they come in.
The structure in which Towneship (and the upcoming La Cucina Sul Mare) resides is an old Swedish church that goes back 150 years.
The address for La Cucina Sul Mare will be 140 Main St, North Easton, MA 02356.
